Day Five: Wildlife Day

For the last day of camp, we went on an adventure! Today we went to Red Rocks Park. To prepare for our walk we designed and made binoculars to use to scope out animals. Then we were off! Once at Red Rocks Park we sat by the beach and played lots of games. Some campers searched for sea glass and we found a lot! After our walk, we wrote down our favorite part of camp on a piece of paper. That piece of paper was used to make a long paper chain with all the campers favorite parts on it. This will be hanging in the lobby, so feel free to come and check it out and watch it grow from week to week. To end camp for the week, we celebrated with popsicles!

The counselors had an amazing week with your campers and we hope that they had a fantastic time as well! We hope to see their smiling faces again next summer. Until then, have a happy summer and a great school year. Remember: Adopt, Don't Shop!
