We had a great first day at camp! We started our morning by introducing ourselves to the group and playing a name game. Next, we took a tour of the Humane Society and got to see some of the cats. Harold was the group's shining star. We also received our Camp Paw Paw T-shirts and took a fantastic group photo. Some of the games we played were animal yoga and animal tag. Before meeting Russell, a dog from the shelter, we had a quick snack. Russell was a very energetic puppy with lots of love to give. Russell was very friendly and said hello to everyone in the group. Erin, the volunteer coordinator, taught us how to pet and approach dogs with Russell. To finish the day, we started our week long project of creating collages. This will showcase all the images and memories we create over the week.
